Description
Once I spoke the language of flowers,
once I understood each word the caterpillar said,
once I smiled in the gossip of starlings,
and shared a conversation with the housefly in my bed.
Once I heard and answered all the questions of the crickets,
and joined the crying of each falling, dying, flake of snow.
Once I spoke the language of flowers...
How did it go?
How did it go?
~'Forgotten Language' by Shel Silverstein

So, this was one of Sophie's entries for her school newspaper auditions last week (unfortunately, she didn't get in), and I asked if I could post it on my deviantART.
Personally, I think she took the poem given a little too literally...
At first, I thought the name of the poem was 'Foreign Language,' like the song by Anberlin.

I have no idea how to put copyright on this...
